This map has been designed, scripted and polished in 10 days. I scripted behaviors and mechanics from scratch using only blueprint.

With a variety of basic stealth and combat mechanics, I wanted to create a small sandbox inspired by Dishonored amazing Level Design.

Scampia, architecturally inspired by the Vele di Scampia in Naples, is built around the multi-path level design principle: different routes offer different experiences catered to different approaches.

The fastest route to your objective is also the most chaotic; the indirect approach requires caution but achieves a stealthier result.

The pontoon and warehouse setting is a logical place to find conveyor belts, which serve as an unusual mechanic that the player can utilize to create a memorable experience.

I designed this aspect of the level on the principle that alterable environments offer the player compelling new means and tools for accomplishing his mission.
