Wildside

Pitch: “An intern programmer is hired to debug the arcade machine Wildside only to find out that the game hides some mysteries”

 

Role: Game & Level Designer / Programmer (C#)

 

Wildside has been made in Unity in 5-6 months from the first designs to its master realease in june 2014.

We were a team of 4 designers/programmers and 5 artists to tackle this first big 3D project during our 2nd school year.

Wildside is based on the game Kid Chameleon released in 1992 on Mega Drive (group of students had to work with an old video game license to create a new game).

Players have to “debug” the level design of the game thanks to powers such as translating, rotating and scaling platforms around.
